Yes, and what us customers are paying for is fraud protection. What's the main source of credit card fraud? Either retailers' systems being compromised, or retailer's employees swiping the information off the card.

What gets to me is when the Prime Eligible item gets handed off to the USPS. I can't speak for the rest of the country, but in Chicago handing anything off to the USPS means it takes a week to get to me. I keep track of sellers that use USPS and avoid them.

Any question of "supporting" family and friends can be squashed with one simple change on how we view connected devices. Start licensing access to the internet in the same way we license driving.
