Same thing goes for Caribou. My aunt and uncle spent the better portion of my life working for US Fish and Wildlife (based out of Homer, Alaska). When I'd visit, Caribou were always the first thing they'd warn me about.

I recently picked up a pair of Minus33 (Merino Wool) mid-weight bottoms ($55 on Amazon) and could not be happier. They really are as soft and comfortable as everyone is saying. I'll be picking up a top soon, I can't recommend it enough.
