Further proof that Commander Strax needs his own spin-off show, where he and Neil Degrasse Tyson drive around in a Winnebago, solving mysteries.

touché @brian_c_weaver

All public schools should just outsource their physics, Kahn-Academy style to Neil Degrasse Tyson who could remotely teach physics to millions of students each day.

the Carl Sagan Option is the only way for this to be effective - you have to engage high school students with the top-level "fun" and bite-sized bits. Modern education has to first instill the love of learning a subject before delving into details, otherwise it won't make any difference.

Wait.........March 8th!?! The way they're running trailers and teasers across the internet I could have sworn this was coming out over Thanksgiving.

I wish Doctor Who would be as up-to-date on this kind of information.

I really dig this idea - if I recall, they tried something similar in one of the more recent Ninja Turtles reboots, where Shredder had died, but the figure kept re-appearing, ultimately being a robot controlled by his daughter or something.

I'm so happy this show is a success commercially and critically. The writers and especially the cast are just perfect. Michael Emerson needed a role exactly like this following LOST.

Is it just me or was the introduction of the "red room" way more compelling than the actual plot of this episode? It was slightly disturbing and I hope the writers have a solid plan for this.

I 100% agree. Leaving the theater, I had a feeling very similar to the one I had the first time I saw Shrek. There were jokes that worked for adults while working for kids in a different way. Don't be surprised if this becomes a new Shrek-like franchise for Disney as a result.

By then they'll be able to "Clu/Flynn" any actor into any age digital body and you'll never know the difference.

If it were anyone BUT Bryan Singer, I'd be worried. But he produced First Class, so he had his DNA in that film. And he directed the best movie of the franchise (X2) so this film should be in good hands.

Perhaps, but it cancels itself out when his voice for the character is that of some strange Texas rancher with a speech impediment.

It would be. Which is why I used Asian instead of Chinese. Ken Watanabe would have made an AMAZING Mandarin.

No argument there - I've been waiting for the appearance of the character since movie 1. Was even hoping there would be subtle hints at his presence, but never him directly until movie 3.

Iron Man 3 would be a lot more fun if the Mandarin was, ya know, Asian.

They could have at LEAST given hook a pirate hat so there as some visual resemblance to popular fiction.

7 months away? 7b airs in the spring does it not?

As long as the words "Vulture" and "John Malkovich" don't enter the same sentence, we should be fine on any of their villain choices.

Agreed......I almost got caught up in the fun of this until I read that.
