I split 60/40 between SwiftKey and native IOS. I strangely find that I need the haptic "click" feedback sometimes, that SwiftKey doesn't have.

After installing the Ubersicht app, move downloaded widget files to the Widgets folder. I use the Aquamacs editor http://aquamacs.org/ to make screen placement / color / sizing changes. Note: After the initial install I kept getting error notifications but a reboot fixed that. Have fun!
What the hell? Did they like, miss a turn?!
Meh, not enough monitors.
I would kill to live in this space. The totality of my apartment is about the same size as the nook where the desk is in the top photo.
If I'm reading that conky right, 62C at idle seems a wee bit too hot :-/
This entire app permission scheme is a major pain in the ass to manage. Do I devote time to researching whether each particular app developer is trustworthy enough to allow them access to things like my contact list and GPS location? If so, what for? It's never made clear.
She's the live-in cat at the hardware store where I work. Just wandered in five years ago on a snowy February and we fell in love with her. Here she is being adorable on the checkout counter. #Sparky
I will sit where I want, thank you.
My mind can not handle that kind of clutter. My boss has a dual terminal set up and EVERY square inch of both monitors is filled with icons. I can't, I CAN'T!
Truly, a thing of beauty.
Yeah I had trouble finding a driver for the Broadcom wifi controller, until I found these http://wireless.kernel.org/en/users/Driveā¦ . Should work for all the Ubuntu flavors.
I've had three of these Inspiron 6400's. Two are still running with elementary OS installed. Sadly, the third lost it's mobo and I had to cannibalize it for parts. The other two are daily drivers for my kids.
Sigh
Hah! Just checked, It'll do the "barrel roll" on the desktop site too. LOL Thanks for the tip about the extension.
Here's a Dell Inspiron that literally had it's keycaps torn off. $12.50 for a new keyboard plus $18.00 for a new battery, wiped the HDD & installed elementary OS. It's ten years old and runs like it's brand new!
I for one, welcome our alcohol serving-robot overlords.
Here's an ancient Gateway that was running Win95. Wiped the HDD and installed Puppy Linux, but with only 256MB of RAM no modern browsers will run.
Arch is a very daunting install for a Linux beginner. But you're very enthusiastic and that'll help!
"Do Not Duplicate" stamped on a key is a form of security theater. It has no basis in law and is completely unenforceable. It just makes people feel safer.
