It took me way too long but I finally figure out how to watch this show in the way they intended: do something else while it's on in the background. I did Spanish and browsed Twitter while it was playing. Stuff would catch my eye or ear and I'd tune in for a bit to watch that part, then when it was over go back to

"group of extrajudicial mercenaries" jfc no those are FEDERAL AGENTS, the High-Value Interrogation Group https://en.wikipedia.org/wi… and apparently ABC and the amoral wankers running Quantico were right to assume that nobody would blink an eye or even *notice* an official TeamUSA version of the Inquisition, who come

I was totally expecting the missing girls to come running out of the forest in the background when Kevin was sitting on the well after pushing in childPatti …

River is pretty good btw - dunno if I'd binge it, might be a bit much all at once.

As somebody who has complained at length about the weaknesses of this show in recent seasons, I have to say that they have had some damn fine episodes lately. This one is a good example of how you can get away with what-happens logic holes if the emotional logic is sound and true. They don't have a Geek chorus saying

Do they mention Russia at all? I caught one reference to Stalin's untimely end but don't remember anything else. I know the show isn't about nailing down a complete alt history, but since the war with Russia was what really did for Germany in our track, I'm curious.

It's my denial and I'm sticking to it.

"Is it weird that I found Malcolm hiding a body kind of sweet?" Wow yes, that wasn't in the same galaxy as sweet. When I saw that I couldn't stop saying, "This is terrible. This is a terrrible thing to do." Because all I could think about was his sister. Bad enough that he's DEAD in such a horrible way, now you're

"We're short again? How does this happen?"
"No worries, we'll just write up some Malcolm crap."

all had something protecting their heads. makes some sense (for WD show values of "sense"). but even with post-torch cleanup, 3 is less than many many. it's Napalm Time.

Ever since they found the Valley of the Walkers I've been wondering why they never even talked about setting them on fire. So I was glad to see evidence that yes walkers do die if you burn them all up and I hope that it sticks in Daryl's mind. They'll never get anywhere killing those things retail, they've got to step

All of these people should be in jail.

"man of science" my ass. i find myself getting increasingly angry with the other characters giving a pass to John Murphy. (which i think is a testament to the writing - it's a reaction to them as if they were real people.)

Nice blocking, Laurel.

I loved the music in the second half, a callback to the first season yes?

Booo. This show was crazy. America has failed again.

Not that I see why UV tats are your duck too far but I get the general idea. I do like that they are undermining the feds-are-awesome-obey party line but they uphold it just as much so the result is still just "good guys are good".

Saw the first Supergirl episode finally and wut. "Please secret fascist Daddy can I go fight the bad guy please?" It's like someone actually made a show from that parody-or-was-it Black Widow trailer, coupled with yet another argument that it's okay to lie, cheat, kill, run a secret army, anything, as long as you're

"I think terrible people do terrible things." You literally just heard the other pilot say how this week's Bad Guy was freaking because of all the collateral damage - that's DEAD PEOPLE in case you've forgotten - caused by the almost certainly illegal secret drone strikes inside the USA. You know, the ones you'll all

as i was watching it i was ticking off the "characters" - moron, moron, moron, jerk, victim, moron, dunno yet, jerk, psychopath, psychopath, moron, avatar … it also seems like it's going to be one of those elaborate constructions that depends on people not talking to each other. i do get the comic book aspect, so that
