"Laurel has similarly cemented her place on the team as well as her abilities as a fighter, believably holding her own against the League …" Yeah, uh, no. Unless I missed the part where several years have passed by in between episodes.

These League guys must have an awesome PR team, because they fight for crap.

"Wait a minute, this law degree is from Cap'n Crunch University! "

I have a great idea - Iris and Laurel should get their own spinoff show! In another city far far away.

It's really difficult to judge this show, precisely because of loving and oft-rereading the original comics. I can't say that Copley is miscast as Walker because this is clearly a completely different character. They all are. (I feel pretty certain that nobody is an immortal superbeing on this show, for instance.) But

I appreciated it essentially saying that worrying about climate change is a smokescreen for a plot to kill all the decent ordinary people. Because that's a viewpoint that just doesn't get enough exposure these days. *head explodes in pretty colors*

If only there could have been some emotional cues from the background music to tell us exactly how we should feel and which scenes were really super dramatical important and stuff.

An A- for the previous episode's sexism parade, an A- for this one's torture hosannas… well. Maybe he can crossover with Jack Bauer next time.

Pure genius: the "source material" on the "terrorists" referencing The Khorasan Group, an actually fictional CIA/MiB boogeyman.

That interrogation scene … that editing is "Oh my god how are we going to assemble something usable out of this." She is the worst, and it fills me with dread to see that her role is only going to get bigger. Not even Manic Pixie Psycho Killer Thea can make up for that.

I loved the episode, but dammit SHUT UP when the man is playing! Everyone around them is thinking, "Bloody main characters, can't wait for intermission…"

When that song started, I thought I had somehow gotten an MST3K version of the show by mistake.

This show started out so convinced that it was better than the source material. Then they found out that it was all hard and stuff to write. So they covered for themselves by acting as if they never had intended to care if it made sense, and that has just been doubling ever since. I didn't think they could get any

Why remake "Utopia" when you've already got one that's so very very good? Oh noes it's not set in the USA it can't be real we can't see it what are they saying why do they talk so weird are they from New York City?

I mostly liked it. The thing I had to just handwave away to get past is a 13 month posting that was solo *on purpose*. Seriously? There's no way in which that makes sense. Except as bait for demon alien angels or whatever, I guess.

I don't know the actual future plans for the show, but I could easily see Jack dying to (try to) save Audrey and Kate moving into the main character role. I'd watch it, Strahovski has been impressive.

When Kellogg did his takeover reveal, my first thought was, "SUE!" Because how plausible is that, really? Totally grounds to sue them for fraud. And there's this great law firm out of Chicago with tech experience named Florick, Agos…

So what was the punchline to Saan's joke, anyway? I couldn't make out any words in the dolphin squeals.

au Sansa is a lot more kickass, good deal

I'm surprised this wasn't in the review. It seemed to be strongly underscored in the ep - whenhe escapes and is out wandering around going on and on about his freedom, meanwhile obliviously ruining everything he runs into. That struck me as a pretty pointed sendup of a certain point of view, one a person might
