Plus, how do you think the series could, or should, distinguish itself from the read of the DCEU?

I seem to recall Gennaro being described as a muscular dude who actually basically gets into a fistfight with a baby T-rex, haha.
Hammond was a total scumfuk in the books, gleefully so. He got his, though. Spoilers for a nearly 30-year old book.
Muldoon is my favorite in the books and the tranqing of the rex is one of those reasons.
Gennaro is definitely the less shady end in the book, coloring toward decent human being, but he still takes the money and does what they want. Makes you sympathize with his plight though, especially compared to the abominable wretch that is Hammond.
It’s funny how some of the conversations between Hammond and Gennaro were switched for the film. As I recall, in the book Gennaro is a generally nice guy and Hammond was an utterly mercenary toolbag.
Exactly. Hammond was a terrible person in the books.
Dead on. Hammond was awful in the books and liked the idea of using dinosaurs because no one could claim they have any kind of rights. The park was a way for the company to make big bucks, but instead they made big raptors that ate people.
“We developed the technology of being able to clone the genes. And so I’m trying to deal with the blowback from what we have done.”
The best way to ensure guns don’t get banned is if every demographic owns guns.
I clicked on this article and scrolled to the comment section praying someone would quote that episode.

Exactly. People ask me about sports at social gathering and I tell them that I don’t follow sports, but I then listen, ask questions, and otherwise engage them. How fucking hard is that? If people are going to give you shit because you don’t know about something that they are passionate about, who cares? Those people…
What about being honest, and asking questions to clarify and show the person you are talking to interest?
But when one side of the argument boils down to “here is a list of all the people we would like to continue to oppress,” and you’re on it several times over? That’s not a valid argument. That’s not debateable. We really need to end this idea that there’s a valid two sides to every argument that needs to be respected.…
Go to Twitter and do a search on MAGAmilitia and Berekeley. A group of Trump supporters calling themselves the MAGAmilitia have been planning violence for weeks, even sharing posts about how to make weapons and talking about how fun it would be to kill liberals. They did this before the last altercations at Berkeley…
Coulter’s not doing it to start a dialogue but to troll the left so she and other conservatives can claim to be “victimized” by a bunch of PC SJW’s. It’s just a stunt. to feed the Right’s constant diet of resentment. Besides, does anyone really think Anne Coulter has anything of value to say anyways?
From a Missionary/Ministry family sitting in my office in a Christian religious institution; which I mention to clarify that I am not trying to make a statement against Christianity in general; and unfortunately some of the most prominent incarnations of the KKK have espoused what they claimed to be an explicitly…
While they wouldn’t market themselves this way, they are effectively equivalent to a Christian version of ISIS.
I definitely would not say they are Christian, but they believe that they are Christian.
Are you serious? Swearing to uphold “Christian values” (as they see them) is a major tent-pole of the KKK organization, and citing their Christian heritage is one of their major justifications for their white supremacist views.
