- It made sense that the mirror in the cove showed Rey images of herself. Like Kylo says later, she knew the truth, she just buried it in a “no, that can’t be true!” kinda way. She was in denial, and it kinda broke through when she shouted at Kylo for killing a parent “that gave a damn about you.”

It’s like when you see someone arguing in favor of stripping the rights of minority groups, and they say, “oh man, I love X-Men! Magneto is a badass!”

They punch down, and then get all “OH, so it’s okay when a [insert minority group here] says it?!” when people respond with exhausted sighs instead of belly-laughter.

Goddamn it. I was hoping there wasn’t going to be some dark, fucked-up side of this whole thing.
