She’s also not the only person voicing the character. The Japanese VA for Bayonetta came back for the third game

I think the problem, in this instance, is that Taylor’s been less than honest about the situation. Her first video said she was offered $4000 total, then it was $10,000 and now it’s $15,000 after Platinum showed the receipts. At a minimum she was not fully transparent, and at worst she was purposefully deceptive to…
Schreier doesn’t count as merely “he said.”
So she turned down $15k for 20 hours of work? I’d love to make $750 an hour. Asking for $100k+ seems kind of absurd? Like, that’s how much a programmer would make working on the game for at least 40 hours a week for a year. She’s not a big Hollywood actor being cast for a movie. Her impact on the game’s commercial…
Taylor was offered 16k for her role in Bayonetta.
they do...she lied about the low pay, only stated what she would have gotten for one recording session, not the total for all the sessions. Read Schrier’s article.
There’s lot of information missing from this article and a lot of comments made be people who don’t seem to have really read any information at all about this whole shits-how.
Not putting the recent information uncovered by Bloomberg (which was referenced on Kotaku in an updated previous article) where it was proven that she was offered 4k PER session for 4+ sessions is pretty disingenuous.
But if she KNEW about all of this before being hired, and still took the job anyway? Then she’s a scab, and rough treatment comes with the territory.
Good. I don’t care how you feel about the whole situation, attacking Jennifer Hale for just doing her job (a job that she got after negotiations with Taylor fell through) is a pretty crappy thing to do.
I hope they will surprise us with a second cour of more episodes. Where these 12 are estimated to end will barely scrape the surface of the story. I hope they don't rush anything either..
Buy the Sandy before doing the Judy missions. Even if you can’t equip it, you can hold it in your inventory until you’re ready.
Meh, hardly a spoiler. Anyone who has played the first hour of CP2077 knows they’re gonna have to deal with Adam Smasher eventually...
Mother’s Basement on Youtube made a genius deduction about the use of that song. Notice how they don’t say “burn this city” in the anime version? Because there’s no burning Night City (see capitalism) down. It’s more focused on the “fire” inside that’s burning them alive.
So I was one of the like...six people on the planet who didn’t hype themselves to Mars prior to the release of this game
congrats on throwing in a level of hyperbole to ensure no one even considers your opinion. Maybe consider actual criticism next time.
Ironically I believe it was originally designed as a video game pitch before making it a manga.
Made in Abyss is one of the best anime I do not recommend. If I knew how fucked up it was I probably would not have watched it but now that I have I have no choice but to continue.
tl;dr 10/10 great anime don’t watch it.
I gotta be honest, I do not and in most cases cannot notice the frame rate difference between 30 and 60fps. I’m not arguing that they shouldn’t try and make it look good, but I also don’t think most people care.
I hate that you don’t make these new articles with each update. It renders commenting useless. Looking still comments from may when it’s an August update is blah. It only gets worse as time goes on. How about “best 8 games as of may 2017.... best 12 games as of August 2017" and so on and so forth. Will anyone ever…
