Hey open question about Ratchet & Clank. I had a Gamecube during the PS2 generation and a 360 after that. Never got around to playing the remaster of R&C but I’m wondering if I should try and play that before I play Rift apart on my PS5

To me this seems like a big cost savings for game companies cause they would not need to send as much time on making 4k models and could be a tool for texture artists to make work a lot faster.

Kinda related but does anyone know if they are going to release a blu-ray of the Dawn of Deep soul movie by itself. All I can find is the steel book 3 movie set and I have the first season on blu-ray already so no point in getting that (fyi the frist two movies where recuts of the first season).  

The anime is great and I would completely recommend it, just be warned about the violence and gore that is targeted against kids. I know there is a blu-ray copy of the first season for around $35 usd

Yeah that scene would not feel out of place in a SAW movie or Hostel 

Even the anime is done very well and starts out with it being friendly and just get worse as the charters go deeper and deeper in to this abyss. The art style is done more to be disarming and even the mange is drawing cutesy but uses shadows and detail when needed for the shock value.  

Was it a good movie no, was it a fun dumb movie that was a perfect fit for the HBO max that I enjoyed for what it was, yes.
