Ever read a book?

I mean, I really don’t think it takes 10 hours to get enjoyable - if you really can’t find anything to enjoy in the stellar opening sequence or the atmosphere or the setup, then yeah, game might not be for you.

The game was immediately enjoyable for me.

It’s pretty much a standalone spinoff story. There’s some fan service moments to certain characters and elements of the first game but as a story it’s pretty much a solo act.

Over saturating a game to the point its a joke isn’t the same as importance.

Skyrim was a refined Oblivion it wasn’t that “Important” in the grand scheme of things. The Soulsborne games revolutionized game design and proved difficulty wasn’t a toxic element. Dark Souls changed gaming for the better Skyrim... didn’t.

I really like the story of Bioshock Infinite, but to put it on the list because of storytelling and THEN put it above The Last of Us is just wrong.  I use The Last of Us as my go to example for video games as art in storytelling.  If you don’t have an emotional reaction from the first 15 minutes of that game (if you

It’s not just about audience reach though; Dark Souls has been incredibly influential to the artform at large.

Bioshock over The Last of Us?  Absolutely not.

it wasn’t a “tough hearthstone esports moment”, it was a political nightmare. Based on the quote in the article here (don’t know if there was more to the apology left unquoted), it doesn’t even sound like he’s addressing what it was actually about.

I’d rather let the team focus on the game for PS4, then wait as much time as needed for a good port, than suffer another Nier Automata PC.

They lied about the products they sold, they mislead their customers about microtransactions, they showed incompetence in how they handled patching and programming, Todd Howard openly admitted that they knew the game was fucked, but it’s okay because of the roadmap, which itself has been a false promise... Even a

And if that doesn’t work, they’re suggesting “restarting the game client” or “uninstalling and reinstalling the game”.”

This really just seems like low-key divisiveness.

Maybe now isn’t the best time to be supporting blizzard for a product that’s virtually the same as another product but with a fresh coat of paint and an even fresher coat of bowing to the Chinese overlords.

So you are saying Turtles > MGS? Wooow...

Kojima-san may have forgiven them, but I haven’t.

Let’s fragment a very limited market with platform exclusives, business!
