The Real Lord Of The Dance

The lead into the first movie’s third act was “Come As You Are”. I love Nirvana but that pulled me right out of the movie in spite of all the (fairly) pandering needle drops prior. Oh, then they play “Just A Girl” during the climactic action sequence.

Yes it is my entirely subjective opinion of Reiser. I guess if the only criteria you can level against someone is that they haven’t been accused of sexual impropriety or whatever, then appreciate away.

Because Paul Reiser was gross.

And may God help us all.

We’re not even in Summer yet?

I was barely 8 when Burton’s Batman came out and I loved it more than anything. Some of the beats were obviously obnoxious, but overall these parts of the film resonated with me more than I expected.

I sat at a bar with my bandmate recently and watched Batman Forever. Our collective reaction the entire time was “fuck this movie” and I remember loving it when it came out. No specific blame to Schumacher, but this shit was off the rails.

Goddammit, now that Sleepy Joe has came down in favor of this the Freedom Caucus will be opposed to it. One of the most baldly usurious instances in modern times and it will likely become a partisan issue…

Ah, uh…is there a new and improved Daenerys somehow?

Honestly, this is the real wtf of the series. Arya has an entire arc around getting revenge that includes her becoming a magic assassin, and then is like “nah nm fam”.

Yeah but that song is incredible (and a foreshadowing of things to come with Underworld) while this Police track is trash

This song allowed Andy Summers to flex his classic rock chops like no other. Amazing.

…did you just confuse Ralph Fiennes with Daniel Day-Lewis?

So wait, we are now in favor of Netflix’s slash and burn business model?

The once and future king. Where are they now?

As a massive fan of The Crow, Joy Division, and Nine Inch Nails, I feel the need to interject that this song was not during the end credits but rather during an early action sequence in the film. And that the cover was sick, and finding out a couple years later that it was a JD cover only enhanced it.

Its been a while, but didn’t this song come out on a cover album?

Those are the best ones.

Look, he wants to take his son to have some clam strips on the coast. What is so wrong with that?

Yes. He’s somehow doing better than Pacino.
