Maybe they’ll get into his backstory. A Palestinian refugee Socialist who preached tolerance and condemned the worship of money.

I mean, do we really need another zombie film?

One, Jesus needs to be louder, angrier, and have access to a time machine. Two, whenever Jesus is not on screen, all the other characters should be asking “Where’s Jesus”?

Honestly thought this was one of the strongest episodes. It works as both part of the show and as its own standalone being.

I loved this episode so much. It might be my favourite so far. We learn what Ji-ah is. And we learn what Atticus has become during the war. What was their relationship. And why he stayed in Florida instead of coming home.

Joelle and I really aren’t on the same page with this series... this episode was the best of the season for me, and yet it’s the only one so far to get less than an A grade. Opinions sure are weird, huh?

Well now that’s why they make so many different flavors of ice-cream. I thought this episode was the best since the series premiere. Beautifully directed by Helen Shaver a Canadian actress (Desert Hearts and The Color of Money introduced her to Americans, but she has been directing television as well). Tonight she

That’s disappointing. Not only did D’Arcy Carden’s performance deserve more than any traditional role (not only the impersonation or her co-stars, but also all the emotions subtly expressed by a supposedly emotionless not-robot), but I also really dislike it when one show or film snatches all the rewards in all the

Solid write-up except for this one observation:

It also had my favorite trite movie dialog. “I’ve been running my whole life. It’s time I stayed put for a while”

A deeply underrated scene was A trains fairwell. Nobody was actually present and the disrespect he had to do the lines to a stuntdouble..That was some cold shit.

She’s the worst.

I think she’s just suffering from not having that live studio audience energy. I don’t know this for a fact - I have never hosted a daytime television show - but this seems like the exact kind of gig where you learn as you go, with audience feedback being a big part of that. Yeah, she’s got the video wall and the crew

It means Tom Green ruined her for other men.

I think Drew’s really good at making you like her because she reminds you of a friend of yours, except you don’t actually have a friend like her, but you’d like to and there’s the genius.

Yeesh. Yet another reason to be upset about the cancellation of Santa Clarita Diet.

I get why people are cringing at the news bit, but that stain removal segment was pretty good. She cares about removing stains and she shows off geniunely useful, non-exaggerated techniques.

Not at all a knock on the interview, which was great, *but* as it got mentioned in the opening I was a little disappointed that he didn’t talk about Damages, which I love to death and believe is criminally under-discussed in conversations about prestige TV. Ted Danson’s performance and character arc alone... Anyway, I

When he wanted to leave to do a movie (the Affleck one his wife worked on as well, as mentioned above), they had to break up his character and Mindy (even though they were engaged and had a kid), so they went all-in on turning him into an asshole. All the pushy, controlling qualities that had been there all along were

Every time I read a Random Roles I come out of it liking the actor a lot more.
