I can agree with you partially but I've met my fill of liberals who use "everything to be legal as long as it doesn't infringe on another person's rights" to explain that semi-auto or large magazines are only for murder in which case they infringe on others rights.

I fully agree. But how would this apply in weights or distance throwing (shot put perhaps, leaves a decent divot. Hard to measure to the hundredth, let alone the thousandth).
