I hear you on that.

Crazy tech. Something so large that can go through a mountain. Unlike most of these comments, I thank you for posting it.

He was showing the difference between stopping and slowing down.

In my states and most of those around me, the test for a commercial license cover those things that you have listed. I hear you. Never understood the super slow travel. I just give them room (can't stand people who tailgate, especially on a large rig that brakes slowly) and try to pass when I can. Getting all upset

No one asked you to repeat yourself. I'm just saying cut them a break.

That was kind of my question though. Like someone mentioned earlier, elephants were hunted for their tusks. Deer are hunted for meat. If you can use their antlers for something else, bonus. Just an interesting thought I had.

Portable scales don't delay your travels. Trucks are pulled off the road for that. Trucks are not special and don't need special treatment. The job is for them to go from point A to point B with cargo. Don't treat different. I don't get what your issue is.

Superiority? It's some dude who drives a truck. It's not a nimble or quick machine. I am not stating that truckers are better than bikers (I just dislike bikers on the road).

20? Exaggeration or actual number?

Shomburgk deer. DrBoom and I were discussing that. I lean on that they are not hunted for their antlers.

Regular dry cedar or fat wood?

That was the only thing that I could think of. It's not really for the use of the antlers, more of a bragging right. Guess it could be argued either way though.

Loss of habitat and over hunting of the remaining herds. It was stated that in 1932 none could be found in the wild, only in captivity. Then in 1938 even those in captivity were slaughtered. I just believe that if they were used for male potency remedies that they would have been using those in captive for it as well.

Social excuse?

That's what I was looking for thanks.

Check what I wrote. Antlers. Not tusks.

If we want to go that route I would rather have trucks around me than bicycles.

I don't know the numbers. I haul for shipping companies. But leasing a truck takes a chunk from pay. Some leased trucks have included maintenance though. I suppose it's up to what is more valuable to you, money or a company to stand behind your rig.

Why not just ban all small magnets? ...and everything else in the world?

This article states the antlers found are found and not removed from the animal. I've been around hunting for all of my life, never heard of anyone going after an animal just for the antlers. Does this actually happen?
