You sure that’s a colonel?
Trains would make a lot of sense if America had better trains
What you’re probably seeing is pedal-assist bikes. You still pedal, but the motor kicks in to assist. Makes climbing a whole lot easier, and you still get a bit of a workout.
As far as the emblem is concerned, Opel is the manufacturer most ready for electrification.
If we’re talking about misspelled terms in automotive, may I also add to the pile:
The days of these basically identical models were numbered when GM sold Opel to PSA back in 2017, and it feels a little weird that everyone is presenting this and the Buick announcement from last week as separate stories instead of being what they are; GM not owning the platform these cars are based on anymore, and it…
I get your point, and if the Miata stayed ICE and had a BEV stablemate, that’d be fine by me. I doubt Mazda has the resources or will to do it though.
You know, the power output and behavior of the electric motor could be programmed to mimic a torquey ICE. Put such a setup in front of a manual transmission and all the bases are covered. They could even have an “automatic mode” where the driver puts it into 2nd gear, locks it there (with a hidden system interlock),…
Agreed - this should be a “as well as” thing, not “instead of” thing.
while we’re at it... lets just get a completely different company to do this. Mazda has far more important things to focus on than making an electric “sports car(?)“. If mazda wants to make a return theyre best off making a EVcrossover like the mach e or a likeable sedan
That didn’t even cross my mind. I wouldn’t really consider the Taycan a sports car (because four doors), it was never in the same realm as a 911.
I don’t think discontinuing the Boxster/Cayman and replacing them with an electric car really qualifies as leaving an icon alone and making a new car.
Agree. When I shop for used Miatas I filter out all the automatics.
The housing or the mirror itself? There seem to be some on UK eBay? If not try the lovely people at A for Alfa: https://aforalfa.com/ . My mates and I have found A for Alfa useful for everything from a quick service to replacing the floorplan of a Tipo and wedging a Delta Integrale into it :)
I have 2 LaCie external hard drives designed by Porsche.
