It's not hard to hate this thing, but since when did Jalops like their cars sensible? Can't say I sense a lot of love for Nissan Tiidas or Toyota Corollas in here, so what's the problem with some intrepid soul taking the very Jalopni concept of an xamino and see how far it will stretch. Literally.

I thought there were quite a few non-white people from various Asian, African and Latin American communist countries throughout the Warsaw pact bloc back in the day. From what I've read, a lot of these people thought they had reasonably OK experiences; better, at least, then the racist violence that came post 1991.

It's not just whether someone has the money, I think. The Binz is worth investing some considerable wodge in- this one not so much...

I trust plenty of others will bring up the VW T2 Samba. Other than that, my first instinct is to bring up the Citroën HY van, but I don't think they were ever really sold as minibuses.

Funny. Most entries are really good 'nice rear, shame about the front' examples.

From the front: meh

Seat Leon's back: meow

Ford's Focus and Mondeo wagons are pretty good, but I can't see those coming back to the US.

"The British? Who's that?"

Yep, I've seen 15+ year old Transits doing their daily duty in Northern Finland- chuck knobbly tyres on it in October and wave goodbye to daylight for the next 7 months. But they work.

The proper Transit comes from all kinds of places (in Europe and near it); mostly Britain and Germany. They've certainly been engineered there. They've been abused by millions of non-owner building crews and delivery people for over 40 years.

Still can't quite believe that the UK equivalent of the F150 will be a mainline offering over there.

The stock SLR is no masterpiece, but I think I can hear its designer sobbing uncontrollably from here.

Given that the Hoffmeister kink, the BMW kidneys, and the Buick portholes have been mentioned, I give you Citroën's light, strong but slightly daft corrugated panels

Veeery interesting.

Nah, those are just the overinflated imposters. The proper ones are from Poland

To be honest, the cabstar is small- probably the smallest cabover on the European market today (apart from the similar Toyota Dyna and even tinier keis). It's mostly sold as a more maneuverable alternative to Dodge Sprinter type vans in inner cities

Mitsubishi I Hello Kitty

Gosh, that's an ancient version of the Linked Open Data cloud diagram- the current one is rather bigger
