When I read the headline, as much as I hated the story, I felt respect towards the creators as you should stand behind your work. However when I hit that sentence, I was once again reminded how much I’ve grown to loathe King as a creator.

Tom King seems to be in denial with respect to the story. The whole thing reads like Armageddon 2001 crossed with a snuff film. It also was just sloppy to have Wally return from being disintegrated for 5 years to have him do what is essentially a heel turn for no reason other than shock value.
