The thing is... the MRA movement does have it own share of whackjobs alongside all the men who just want to do some good. the MRA movement isn't a single monolith entity, but spilt up in different dozen groups that sometimes choose to focus on different ideologies. It's pretty much similar to the Feminist movement

Yeah, A lot of awful people tend to over-rationalize their actions as something totally harmless. Bullies do that too as well. doesn't matter if their actions drove somebody to suicide, the person were just simply "overly sensitive" and overreacting. They were just joking and having fun with the person!

My worst "online dating" moments were from when I was a teenager.... I know, it's not exactly safe for teenagers to date online. But thankfully I learned that on my own without getting kidnapped/raped/etc. Basically I used to have those profiles online that stated that I was only okay with online webcaming, etc...

It does seem to be amazingly hard to explain alternate sexuality that isn't Heterosexuality or Homosexuality. Too many people seem too comfortable with putting others in two neat categories: neither you're straight or you aren't.

and the ironic part about this whole discussion? The Japanese made it so very easy to separate real underage girls from fictional ones.... by giving the fictional 12-year-olds breasts that was impossible for real girls at that age to have. I mean, look at this:

The thing is, with cartoons it's too easy for people to assume that adult characters are children just because they were drawn in such a cutesy way. As an female artist myself I like to draw American-style cartoon women with normal to small breasts because I hate how most comic/cartoon media tends to

Talk to not only female victims, but male victims too. I think if you got an male viewpoint on what it's like to be raped you might understand the position women are in better.
Men are so strong and respectful of others, that they would have no problems asking for help or reporting it right away so that their

Ditto to that. Although it was my older brother and his friends, not my parents. came out just fine...

Uh, I'm female, and play fps games as well as games like assassin's creed. What, did you think that females play only games like Cooking mama?

Yeah, they certainly existed for a long time. However, it used to be that every character was the right amount of "sexy"... it was a good balance between demure coyness and sexy. But today.... you ever get the feeling that the comic artists and writers are now reaching that point where they're cramming as much as

Yeah, I have thought about that too... although I'm sure brisonc here (who I was replying to) didn't think about that in the first place. and If a guy is willing to rape a woman, who's to say he wouldn't get off on abusing little kids too? you never know. *shakes head*

This just reminds me of the time I kept on getting promotional baby stuff in the mail from some company despite not being pregnant at all. first it was just a tiny diaper in the mail, some powder milk samples... but it quickly got out of control as they were sending me catalogs for cribs, clothes, etc. they kept on

I feel for those women who had to resort to this in order to get any justice done for what happened to them.

And how would you know they "moved on" from this behavior? For all we know, they very well could had continued this rapey behavior behind closed doors. Many rapists very rarely stop at just one victim... and according to college stats most college rapists usually have six victims or more. You don't think they should

Not to mention trying to explain to people that just because you're a monogamous bisexual chick who happened to be engaged to a man now, doesn't mean that you suddenly turned straight. Trying to tell people that you still find women attractive but that you have no intention of cheating on your guy with a woman, much

I'm deaf, not wheel-chair "disabled"... but I totally hear you and where you're coming from.
And, I have to agree with you 100%. Even deaf people face some of the same problems that other people with "disabilities" do.... namely that there seem to be this social perception about what Deaf people are like, that we

Realizing that drawing all of your female characters with 36DDD tits and posing them in physically impossible ways in order to show off their boobs and ass at the same time while wearing dental floss costumes might be a little offensive to women is hardly the same as saying that you're not allowed to enjoy sexy art or

The idea of a magical girl-based game where you take on monsters, alien invaders is just so awesome to me. You know what would make that game even better? The entire Madkoa cast in a video game similar to this game. Switch between characters ala GTA V and use their unique abilities to defeat aliens. But have that

I had this exact same problem. I also feel creeped out when 17 year olds hit on me too... although for different reasons. It's still the same gross-out factor, though.
I hate the young boys for assuming that I'm just as immature as they are in many ways, or even worse upon learning my real age still want to "bang
