I'm on board with the Alyssa love too, which really surprises me.  What's even more surprising is that I just now get why people keep calling her beautiful.  Up close or on Untucked she has always looked grotesque to me, but on the runway she is indeed lovely.  And I had to do a triple take when I saw the photo at the

Can I give an "Amen" about JimDick?  I cannot stand him.  And also I cannot stand the way he constantly reaches for drugs at the slightest setback and his so-called good friend never raises a peep.  I did my fair share of pot and peyote — in the 60s! — but in today's prime time it is just crazy not to have someone

Just…….no.

I had forgotten how annoying Emily Proctor's voice is.  It is impossible to take her seriously in any guise when I keep hearing helium-starved chipmunks.

I appreciate Ru's loyalty to her friends.  It's a very attractive quality.  That being said, however, I do wonder what is said behind the scenes — just between those goyls — after Michelle and Santino do their usual hatchet jobs on any but the glamazons.  There is no doubt that Ru appreciates wit and creativity as

Can one still become a qualified lawyer via the apprentice method, so long as one passes the bar?  If so, Mike could get his degree, although not from Harvard.

And yet so true to the spirit of Conan Doyle.  His Sherlock was constantly fooling his Watson by appearing to him heavily disguised.

OK, I wasn't able to catch up with this episode until Sunday so I apologize for coming late to the party and with a couple of (apparently) unpopular opinions.  First of all, I really, really do not like Scotty.  Perhaps I really, really just do not like the actress but I believe it is the character and the way her

Troll, troll, troll your boat…..

I never questioned his having gotten the job done, only that he claimed never to have experienced fear until returning to his family.  The fact that he had presence of mind and the ability to face his foe does not erase his first response: sheer terror and panic.

It was interesting to hear Oliver tell Diggle that he faced death many times on the island but never felt fear.  Especially when you see how terrified the younger, untrained Oliver was when being pursued by his wrapped-faced assailant.

Ah.  I'm Jewish.  I never, ever would have made the association.  And yes, Henry VIII, purported composer of "Greensleeves," was said to have immortalized a lady of the night.  Wonder how he managed to  fit her in amongst all the legitimate bedmates…

It WAS "Greensleeves."

I quite like the way Holmes in "Elementary" is not the canonical asexual being Conan Doyle showed us.  New York Holmes is apart from Holmes' appreciation of Irene Adler as "The Woman," depicted as intellectually challenging rather than ever  touching Holmes' cold, cold heart.  Instead he is first revealed as having an

Freddy owns the building — he IS his own landlord, having inherited the house from his father.  Cilenti's thug is on hire to scare all of the inhabitants away — presumably from the entire side of the street, not just that one house — possibly in a real estate grab.  Whether he was also the one who murdered Miss

Could someone please tell me why, if she was so distraught about Miss Ramirez's death after the fact, Bel did not take a simple precaution before the fact.  She could have asked her boss to authorize putting Miss R. up in an hotel, for example, or simply taken her home to Chez Bel.  And goodness knows Freddie has tons

I don't think it was so much a show of compassion to Brody; I think it was his realization that his orders from Estes were not in service to his country but instead only in service to covering Estes' ass.  And in that he was right.  With Walden dead Brody was the only one who could tie Estes to the deaths of those
