It did seem as if the bar scene was truncated and my take on that is this: Nick is either watching himself or having Kalinda watched.  He sees her drinking and talking with Alicia, then Cary joins them and Alicia leaves.  This configuration of characters confirms his incorrect interpretation of the Kalinda's Interest

Yes!   Thank you.  I knew I remembered this.  My new bumper sticker is CIAR — Carrie is always right.

How about a little primer or something for those of us NOT familiar with the comic book, if knowledge about these characters is as helpful as it seems?  I have a fairly good idea of who Oliver is, but nobody else.  Plus I have to say that the prospect of not seeing Walter again rather depresses me, as I have fond

I got the distinct impression that the dick of a warden was not only dissing Saul's beard, he was making a not-so-veiled anti-Semitic slur that Saul picked up on immediately.

You are correct.  But it is HIPAA, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, which applies to any information, whether oral or recorded in any form or medium, that is created or received by a health care provider, health plan, public health authority, employer, life insurer, school or university, or

OK, slightly off-topic complaint here.  You referred, many times, to "burying the lede."  As a former journalism major I must protest.  Even though it appears this way in the title of a "Person of Interest" episode the first spelling and most customary usage is "bury the lead," as in the lead paragraph of a story.

But Ellen made it pretty clear to Neal that his father is not dead. (And it's therefore canon, not a spoiler.)

I would like to know why his partner in the Green World, a newly promoted rookie detective, is not fired in every episode.  I know he is supposed to be keeping an eye on Michael but surely he has to have some skills in order to justify his job.  This guy routinely accepts every easy explanation at every single crime

That is Thorsten Kaye, and he is exactly the bartender I would like casting me smoldering looks.  Back in the day when I watched soaps, lo, 30 years ago, he was a hottie on One Life to Live, and he is still a hottie.  Yum.

I am only speculating but speaking only about the East Coast prison system there is a fair sized population of Native Americans on the inside.  It is possible Mike and his cohorts may believe that Ace is acting with the participation of contacts he made in stir.

Pretty, yes, but for me she is like chalk screeching down a blackboard.  SO cheery, SO chipper, SO swaggery, SO sure she is the smartest kitty in the room.  Argh!  Anna Torv is a genius to make me feel so much for each and every incarnation of Olivia

My frustration is with the Manhattan shoots, not the Brooklyn-LI ones.  They seem clustered in three settings: the Morgan Library (masquerading as June and Byron's home), Madison Square Park and the adjoining courthouse and some glass-tower office building on lower Park Avenue.  At first I was delighted to recognize

I cannot wait until DS9.  Well, obviously I will have to, but in the meantime I plan to invest some of the Hanukkah gelt that is burning a hole in my pocket and buy at least the first season.  Until then, thanks for this.
