Yeah, Sufjan in December has become a sort of private holiday tradition for me in recent years.

Funny, I just moved to the Philly burbs in January. My boss (he is of Irish descent) is married to an Italian woman and I asked him if they had normal Thanksgiving food or if it was a bunch of Italian shit, and he said it was Italian stuff and he hates it. He said nobody knows how to make real turkey gravy and it…
Yooo, I went to a hispanic/Vietnamese Thanksgivig a few years ago and it was on point.
Especially if there was kibbe and shawarma and shit like that!
I’m open to a range of 3-5, but 5 is pushing it to the limit.
Must be the new Star(fish)burys
OH SHIT FLAMING HOT KINJA.
Buncha brainiacs working here at deadspin.
Sorry, pretty sure Grimes will be the coolest last cool person alive.
Taco Doritos or GTFO
I agree about the henchwoman.
I agree that having, like 3 out of every 4 people being an assassin was too incredible, even for the Wick universe. I enjoyed the hobo underground network, but it couldn’t have been fleshed out, too.
I’ll buy it
The world-building montage (haberdasher, armory, map expert) was literally my favorite part of the second one, LOL.
Yeah, the fight scenes in the second one suffered because of repetitive moves (find my previous comment regarding the prevalence of barrel-rolling), but what I really enjoyed about the second one is how they fleshed out the world, with the haberdasher, and the armory, and the map expert. The entire world is great.
The first one was great, and I even like the second one, but did anyone else notice how many times Reeves barrel-rolled in that movie? One of the great things about the first one was the creative gunplay—some of the best you’ll ever see. But man, about an hour into the second one I felt like I needed to watch it again…
Nice
Man, I really miss Catherine Kobayashi—she was the best.
Kidding aside, NHK is the best. My favorite shows are Trails to Tsukiji and Somewhere Street
