Android has a very common battery issue, but it's understandable. However, I usually prefer clearing up my RAM and close unnecessary active applications. Does excess hardware acceleration affect Android's battery life?

It's always better carrying some portable gaming consoles with you like PS Vita or Nvidia Shield. In case you get nervous, the games you like to play will help you getting away from your worst fear. If you don't have a console, you can have some fun-playing games installed on your smartphone or even tablet.
