I am actively looking for carbed cars for my kids to learn to drive on.

Agreed.  This whole article screams “govern me harder daddy”

Instead of putting more nannies on cars, how about we enforce the rules we already have?

This right here. Only spouting progressive talking points from a “I am better than you” attitude does nothing.

Anything that is fun is on the block to be hated now.

That is the first thing I see in this....you want to force me away from something.  Sorry bud.

This 100%.  It is getting out of hand.  The hatred to automotive or transportation industry is getting laughable at this point.

Exactly.  The data around lithium batteries is far worse.

Not just a boat ride.  It is a hotel for a week as well as travel to other locations.  I would much rather be on a ship than fly.

I like cruises as it takes care of everything on the vacation.  Drive to the port and drive home.  I am thinking of booking on this one just because now.

Agreed.  I now come on here to see the anti-Elon hate, the hatred of anything that isn’t “progressive” and to see that the writers do not actually like anything motorsports or automotive at all.

Oh look, another Anti-Tesla article because Jalopnik loves rage baiting people. We get it, you hate Elon because of twitter.

I love how Jalopnik has devolved into just posting rage bait about Elon Musk’s endeavors just because the people that run the site do not like him.  Whatever.  I clicked.  Goodjob.

Perfect example of what happens when the government controls everything.

I owned a 1981 Datsun 720 and it was a great truck.  Would buy again.  NP.

I agree.  The cost is too spendy for what you get.  Add on to that with the fact that the US still uses coal and natural gas for electricity so the “clean” of it is really just a marketing gimmick.

“Clean energy” stated in the article, can only be guaranteed if the power used to charge those busses come from something other than gas or coal plants...

I was thinking doing it for attention. There have been cases like this before.

I am currently studying EE and the tech just isn’t there to charge them.  14hrs to get 93 miles is pitiful.

I am in VA and I am hoping that we shoot this down.  There are vast swaths of the state that cannot support this initiative. (most of it)
