This is a great idea. I have been tossing the idea around of opening a DIY garage in town with something along the lines for short term storage.

Congrats on the progress! The Jeep gods are smiling down on you and the crew for now.

Great job! No need for thousands of dollars to be wasted on a fun project. Get it running!

Never seen one on a bike before...acceptable! Well done

Ditto.

That one was great as well!

Agreed

My parents bought me one and it was the only gift that I wanted the year it came out. They had to get a family member to buy it as they weren’t in stores in my hometown. I still have it and my kids play with it.

I have been as well. I was a teenager and was shocked at the enormity of it at the time. Sobering now.

Preach it. That job foreman, if alive will have his butt chewed for allowing this.

I am from around the area as well....I was thinking medical issues as this is the handicapped parking lot.

I have been to that track countless times...I will agree it was an impatient asshole. I might also add that it was in the handicapped parking area so medical issues could be a play here.

Oh great....my local news channel made it on Jalopnik...and of coarse it had to report the SSR....who still owns one?

I use to run a smaller carwash that used brushes and we cleaned the ever loving crud out of them daily. Part of the routine maintenance.

Agreed

In the Roanoke Valley, there is a mid 90's Cutless Olds that is out there patrolling I-81. VA State Police is getting good.

I was able to walk on this ship before it left dry dock. I was impressed at the shear size as well as the scale of the new technology. That said, it is the first of it’s kind and with any new product, there are bound to be hiccups. I was part of a design team on a smaller system that does work and it was tested

Excellent response.

I would say they are athletes. Spending hours in a hot car requires physical strength and endurance. They also have to know the setups of a car and how each part functions and what it will do to the car when going 200mph. Just an observation, not trying to start an argument.

Great work! I am thinking about doing this to my wife’s Sienna. Have you thought about spraying the bottom of the cab in a rubberized undercoat? Doesn’t look like it had any from the factory.
