This guy is an idiot. This is exactly what started the housing crisis, which almost took down the world economy. We built too many homes, and their artificial values, whatever that means, never went down. The government guaranteed the loans and risk, so everything crashed the moment it reached a debt breaking point.

This article in 3 sentences: “I want to live in NY and have access to its job market and lifestyle; but I don’t want to pay what it costs to live there. Sure, I could go to Pittsburgh and have a much lower cost of living; but I don’t find the lifestyle or job market as attractive. It’s all so unfair.”
