Working on hardware is different. I work on cars and I can assume this is sort of similar. There is no one system that controls everything. They are various subsystems that need their own software.

1.2 million passengers. Lets say conservatively each passenger paid 700/ticket. Thats $840million earned by the plane.

Actually apple’s revenues have been climbing every year for the past few years. The company has so far not posted a reduction is revenue for any one year. I think you are talking about the Valuation which is not really a good proxy for revenue.

Suing the “system” for as much money as you can over a small matter is literally the most American thing you can do. These folks should get the “most American” and “fuck yea” award.

Its really not as hard as you would think. Pretty much everyone in Asia drives a manual. Even old grandmas and moms in minivans. Its just about getting used to it.

Nah most are San Francisco Bay area c-level executives that make well into the millions. The vaping/crossfit and other stuff might or might not be true.

Except over the past few says there are no m0re competitors. For example where I live Comcast is the only viable provider and they are happy to let you cancel knowing full well that means putting up with an even worst internet service.

Very true. The most interesting fact was watching the videos of China’s Carrier operations. It really looks like they looked at US movies and youtube videos to get a feel for how to do it. Many countries have carriers. India and Brazil for instance have developed (through almost 50 years of carrier OPS0 their one ops

The problem for me that that Lincolns are luxurious only in the sense that they “look” luxurious. The fit and finish is nowhere as good as a Lexus for example (then again few cars are).

Totally agree. I don’t tend to monitor my heard rate all the time. I use it to Biking and running where it makes sense for me. Its sort of the lesser of the two evils. Chest strap is accurate but its only accurate when you wear it. Its totally useless for me when its sitting at home.

I actually have one and it works great for what its advertised for. When I got it it was the only multi sport GPS tracker that has heart rate built it so it is the first generation of these products. But are right about the non running/riding activity. In all fairness it was really sold as a running and riding

BTW The apple watch sensor will work a LOT better if you have it very tight against you skin since it depends on keeping a constant contact with the skin in an exact position. When the watch moves in relation to the skin OR there is light leakage from when you skin moved the sensor stops working.

The apple watch and purpose build sport watches are actually totally different. My tom-tom watch’s rear sensor for example is specially designed to prevent shifting and to maintain constant contact with the sensors even during strenuous activity. The shape of the sensor is also very different and the LED’s themselves

I have a tomtom HR and so far it tracks as accurately as a test strap. Its off by about a second but thats not a big deal. So far I haven't found a need to use my chest strap since I for the tom-tom. On board sensors are the future.

Surprisingly in real life criminals are very dumb. Theres tons of thieves being caught after they stoke stuff and looked directly at a camera.

Its won’t really be expensive for us. The War in Iraq cost us almost $2 trillion (Iraq + Afghanistan cost us about $6 trillion). Total US casualties are about 8000. We have basically proved that we can fight and sustain expensive wars over non existent weapons. and spending 4million to carpet bomb previously already

Yea you can’t shoot up people in another country. If you are in someone else’s nation tooting around guns and someone form the country wants to take a photo they are damn well welcome to. Being special ops is only special in the US. In another country you are just another soldier from America.

The only problem with case is liability. If some steals your wallet, takes all your cash and buys a new TV you can’t get your cash back (haha).

I used to be in that Camp. But I have a work laptop that is for .. work. I have a mac workstation at home I use for all the heavy duty stuff like video editing. A few months ago I got a Mac laptop (the Macbook) because I wanted a computer fir netflix, looking up stuff and facebook.
