Why even bother with seats. Lets just stand. I take public transit every and and stand for upwards of an hour.
@jmcm: I think the op is talking about fundamental research. Most of this research is done is Universities. Companies like Apple and Microsoft (to a larger extent DuPont, IBM, Pharma companies) do research based on what they can sell.
@Groo8: That not true. Pencils were not the solution. A pencil lead can easily break off and get into any crevice. Not to mention a pencil requires you to apply significant pressure to write which is not an easy task when you have to gravity providing pressure. (try writing at an angle for a extended period)
@Chimera: Thats smart. This tip also helps regular older Macs.
Actually mine is a bit faster. Mine was slow as ass but after a restart its actually a bit smoother (not faster) the speed seems about the same (meaning its still painfully slow compared to the 3GS).
