1976.

The E65 is a complicated thing. I wasn’t paying attention to BMWs of the era besides the E46 M3 and the M Coupe, so I don’t remember having a strong reaction to the E65. I’ve read that there was a rush to buy E38's when people saw the new car and didn’t like it. So I understand what you mean.

I KNEW I've seen Chris Evans before on US TV. He's Mr. Wong from Aqua Teen Hunger Force!

I cringed in the first episode when LeBlanc asked I’d it was ok to drive into Evans’s car.

So tired of this response. Maybe they will get better but pretending they are starting from the same place original top gear was 12 years ago or whatever is ludicrous. The formula is in place. But the chances of finding a similar chemistry as the OG3 is near impossible.

No. There is Top Gear Australia which is even worse. Top Gear Korea is un- watchable and not just because they only speak Korean...

I love reading his tweets about Top Gear. With every tweet, more people realize what kind of a fucking, annoying prick he really is and that he is the main reason why Top Gear will not survive for more than couple of seasons at best.

I’ll take one in dark gray with the license plate “KIDSNDOG”

I’ve got a unique perspective in that I’ve never watched any Top Gear television show—not the old one, not the new one, not the U.S. one. So with that being said, the old Top Gear hosts seem pretty cool, the U.S. hosts seem like unlikable douchebags, and the new Top Gear hosts are a collection of unlikable douchebags.

Chlamydia is better than syphillis too

If you have $12k to spend on an old convertible do yourself a favor and get a Honda S2000. First off it looks way better and has a manual and 50/50 weight and RWD and a far far far superior interior, but also it is reliable and screams to 9000rpm. You will enjoy it far far more.

...remember that time when you learned your “substitute” teacher became the “real” teacher for the rest of the school year?

I wanted to reserve judgment until I had seen the episode, and tried to watch with an open mind.

I went in watching this show with an open mind(I am a huge fan of the old hosts) and was hoping it was gonna be watchable, but after like 20 minutes I gave up, the stuff they did felt like it was already done by the trio, the main host Chris sounded like he was yelling the whole damn time and I was seriously getting

Anything that rolls off the line to the home of a customer, should not be a “beta” product (I hate this term in regards to anything that is of mechanical in nature). Tesla is a well established brand and company now, the “oh but they’re young” card doesn’t fly anymore. Especially when you walk around the field pissing

I’m guilty of this. I had a vanity Swedish plate on my Saab 9-3. The plate combination isn’t something like MOVE OVER overloaded with umlauts like I normally see stuck to the front of an S4 down the street at the Audi service center, but is JVN 728. Setup with 3 letters 3 numbers like usual Swedish plates are issued

The car magazine world needs more Social Skills Specials.

Have you been inside these things? They may be FWD, but they ain't mini

Absolutely not. I genuinely don't understand what people find attractive about the RS7. It looks pretty good from the front, but the entire side profile looks...

Now playing

I think you are correct that the past week's episode was the best in a while, and takes things back a step to what makes TG great.
