True-that person did say that but frankly I don’t believe it just reading the temperature of their other comments. I doubt that person would vote for Biden even if he backed everything Bernie said.

1. It’s just the way politics works here. Like how you mentioned that politicians will pivot center during general elections. Can you cite studies for that? You don’t have to actually because it’s just common knowledge. I’m not going to dig around for studies proving common knowledge.

1. We’ve had presidential elections for over 200 years here-it’s a fact.

Because the longer you have a single candidate from a single party in a presidential primary, the more likely voters from that party will vote for that candidate in the presidential election regardless of whoever else was in the primary at the beginning. It’s basic political science-stuff I learned in high school.

I’m glad he was able to scoot the Democratic Party a bit more leftward but thank god he’s dropped out now instead of later in the year. We need as many people to vote for Biden as possible and dropping out early is the only way that is going to happen.
