Washington has the largest number of cases and deaths that we aren’t really seeing anywhere else yet. You and the people in your state and city are, of course, having a different experience than everyone else in the country.

Gotta make sure girls know that their bodies are shameful and hammer that point in at every possible moment. 🙄

What an incredibly invasive and creepy thing to ask. Also creepy-the principal claims there were “parents who are proud of the school for taking a stand to ensure prom is an encouraging, wholesome event.” aka parents who were totally fine with their girls being treated like objects that needed monitoring. 

The water hoarding is a complete mystery to me as well. People are treating this like it’s a natural disaster and the utilities will be shut off. The virus is a virulent respiratory illness, it won’t cause a zombie apocalypse.

The thing is, unless there are masses of unreported cases and deaths, there’s no real reason to panic and isolate ourselves or alter our normal behavior.
