I LOVE Eshakti. I love that you can choose just cotton dresses. Most of my new dresses are from there and they’ve been doing some beautiful, summery cotton dresses.

Oh for pete’s sake, it’s not a hetero/cis fashion thing, it’s a leather shorts look silly on everyone thing. Especially as formal shorts. Formal shorts look silly. 

That shorts suit looks ridiculous as all shorts suits do* but she looks like she’s having the best time ever so whatever. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I’m not a huge fan of the flattened flapper look either. It makes people look like they are wearing hairy swimcaps.

Cigarettes are already named and shamed in schools, at home (one would hope) and in public service announcements made by the government or nonprofits aka entities that have a responsibility for the public good. People are aware that cigarettes are bad. They make the choice to smoke or not with that information in…

If people want to smoke, they are going to smoke. No matter who or what is “influencing” them, even if their parents tell them not to, or their partner tells them not to or whoever.

How are they wrong? 

I can’t say what actually went on either since I wasn’t there but you’d think that if the cops had done something to get kicked out other than just existing in the space, that would have been included in the story.

Ugh I hate agreeing with the types of people who boycott Nike because they hired a person who was protesting police violence but this sounds like someone being a little too “woke”.

So your American friends smoke more now because they saw the other people around them doing it, not because they saw Hopper on Netflix doing it? 

I don’t think the media should be held accountable for things parents should be teaching their children. That includes teaching them about unsafe sex practices, illegal drug use and just general dumb, risky things like walking on live train tracks.
