Apples and oranges there-the reasons behind black women straightening their hair and a Carolina Herrera designer using Mexican patterns and embroidery techniques are not remotely the same.

Like....is it that hard to just put a blurb up on the website about the general history behind the patterns and embroidery and how the designer was inspired by them or whatever? It’s not a difficult thing to do and they’d avoid a lot of this kind of backlash.

I live in Los Angeles and drive everywhere so flip flops have been my shoe since the beginning. I also hate shoes and totally kick them off under my desk. I loooove going places where it’s socially acceptable to not wear shoes like the beach or friend’s house or the park.
