I never did anything that physically endangered anyone else or would have led to their death or major injury. I don’t think I’m exceptional in that regard. I knew kids who were like that (had no regard for the safety of others) and I didn’t associate with them.

Children do stupid things but that doesn’t mean they should be excused for doing horrific shit like this. I would never have done something like this as a kid.

At least once, the culprit was a child who admitted to playing a prank.
