The great jazz drummer/bandleader Art Blakey died around this time too-

From the same show as Jam 292, which I posted a few nights ago, which was Feb 28, 1982, Houston. I play this a lot, w/6 songs Hendrix either wrote or performed. I could not find the full show online; too bad, as there is some nifty slide work.
