Have you ever read Sideways Stories from Wayside school? By Louis Sachar. I loved that at that age, it’s about a wacky school and I’m pretty sure each chapter is a different kid’s story, so it doesn't feel like a lengthy novel to tackle.

I have a different dvd with mickeys xmas carol and 2 other 80s Christmas cartoons - the small one is about the story of the donkey that carried Mary into Bethlehem and YOU WILL WEEP. It’s Don Bluth style animation and beautifully done as a story. (The third cartoon is the one with Pluto chasing chip and dale in the

I think they have a cut off of costumes that look ‘professional’ vs. not. Like, if you’re in a costume elaborate enough for kids to want an autograph and think you’re part of the park, that’s not gonna fly. But a DIY thrown together fun outfit is ok.

Did you buy the dvd that also includes the Small One? That one brings allll the tears

Abc family includes both of these in their 25 days of Christmas - there's a master schedule posted online, check it out and set the DVR!

There have been a few stories in the press about this recently, so I see the concern. I spent time on the marketing side for cruises, and have been on a bunch myself as a passenger.

I had a friend who served in Africa and had a life changing experience. She loved it - it was definitely a challenge, but she loved it. My sister wanted to do it until they told her she'd have to get all of her wisdom teeth removed in order to go (despite them not bothering her at all) and she said hell no. Experience

I’ve not taken toddlers on a cruise but did work closely with the cruise industry for a number of years. Cruises are a perfect multi generational family trip. There are tons of dining options, and top notch childcare centers should you want an adult only dinner. The railings on cruise ships are HIGH and no ones going

Netflix used to have the Christmas crossover episode of He Man and She Ra and it gave me ALLLL the nostalgic feels. Also I think they used to have Prancer! Have you seen that one? It’s cute and was widely released but not as mainstream as the ‘Elf’s of the season.

Pretty sure Short Hills has a Kiehls. I always want ALL THE THINGS from there. Also Bobbi Brown makeup. And Williams Sonoma hot chocolate is sinful.

If you have any tolerance for Broadway at all, check out the cast recording of Hamilton! You can easily follow the entire show even if you haven’t seen it. I'm a history AND Broadway nerd so this album is basically everything to me right now, but I think it's also easily accessible for anyone with a casual interest in

I have the velvet Tudor rose on my tree too! *high five*

It looks like that could be said of this entire film.

I binge watched Downton Abbey on maternity leave and it was SO GOOD.

I want to go to there.

I made Ina Garten’s stuffing and it is BANGIN. Yay good stuffing!

She sings in a sort of Jessica Simpsony ‘always stretching desperately for that next note and isn't opposed to shrieking’ type of way. That said, she can carry a tune, is a truly amazing dancer, and is adorable. They could have done a lot worse. She’s been getting a lot fewer movies since splitting with Seacrest.

Whenever I see terrible sketches I think of Frank and his dreaded baby sketch on 30 Rock.

Love Vanessa but she's always a terrible character on update.

I felt the ‘monologue’ was proof to the point that this show was underprepared. I saw him tape Inside the Actors studio and he recounted the same story there - it felt like they just threw him onstage and told him to tell an amusing anecdote.
