I had a baby just about 3 weeks ago, and am finally starting to feel 100% like myself again! Hooray for an unexpected c section recovery that wound up being totally manageable. Hooray for also throwing in the towel on breastfeeding when the baby wasn’t gaining weight. Everyone is MUCH happier. Props to you ladies who

In 7th grade, I was the only former player from my school who didn’t make the 7th grade basketball team. I was mortified, and would have been happy to have spent the season warming the bench. Literally every other girl from 6th grade made it, and there was no player cap or anything like that. I got the news on a

Horse camp was my (unfulfilled) Dream as a child. I used to read and reread a short series of YA books about a horse camp religiously. Basically, I am jealous.

That kid was a complete asshole, but your sanctuary sounds awesome. I hope Frankie got to live out the rest of her days in peace with a great sense of security.

His appearance as Meekus is admittedly brief - one moment enjoying orange mocha frappuccinos, the next igniting in a gas station fire.

YES. She must be tight with Tina and Amy. So she has my dream friends on top of a banging career and being hilarious. Keep on killing it, Paula Pell.

Plus he was super adorable on dancing with the stars.

Tonight I had my first full glass of sparkling wine in ages and it was glorious. Related: I had a baby (and a c section) 2 weeks ago and I am just about back to feeling 100%. Things are looking up! More wine!

I second you on the luggage! I bought a full set of swiss army luggage at tj over 10 years ago for a fraction of its department store price. It’s still going strong. I always wince when I see people registering for multiple $300 suitcases at Macy’s for their weddings or whatever - there’s a BETTER WAY.

You’ll be ok! I had my first baby this past Tuesday - had an epidural and did ok. Got stuck at 9cm for three hours and ultimately needed an unplanned c section - and I’m STILL ok. You can do it. Once that baby is out your brain flips a switch and your own recovery is worth it.

I recently bought a house in NJ and have yet to meet a soul around us. Kind of a bummer.

The kind of amusing thing is that people in Russia straight up do not have 3 kids. Unless maybe you are an oil tycoon or work a farm - not happening. Having 2 kids amongst the normals in Moscow or St. Petersburg is basically flaunting wealth. People just don’t have 3, despite the government’s efforts to get the

I actually lol-Ed. :)

Yup, this. I hate at least 95% of cards in any given Hallmark store, walgreens, etc. Today I was actually searching for an anniversary card for my parents and I came across one that was weirdly condescending, and ended with how I was “proud of them.” Barf. I almost exclusively shop Papyrus these days, but spending

I got married before Pinterest was huge, but will never forget a wedding cost savings “tip” that brides should recruit their bridesmaids the morning OF the wedding to “collect wildflowers from the side of the road” for free bouquets. My husband still laughs when we see a few wildflowrss in a mess of weeds along the

Liz Lemon would not approve of this ham slander.

He is my television TRUE LOVE though I feel like he could also pass as a serial killer easily. Those Scandinavian genes and icy gaze are beautiful but also sometimes scary? So many complicated feelings.

That is a nice butt, but I still think Chrissy Teigen is firmly in the TRYING WAY TOO HARD sector of celebrities. A Liz Lemon eye roll to you, I say.

The butts and stuff were literally the only good thing about True Blood by the end. BLESS YOU, A Skars and Joe Manganiello for stripping down so frequently.

So basically Fred Claus 2? Meh.
