Your use of Dr. Spaceman is perfection.

AGREE. I think Mindy herself interviewed that she and the writers thought it was "hilarious" but just...no.
She did and you're right - it was Anna Camp! She was married with a toddler though (maybe even older? I remember them making bunk beds?) and wasn't the sort of fun girlfriend that she might get into trouble and have adventures with. I think she needed that. Since she's the only female doctor in the practice, all of…
It does make sense, I think it just feels really rushed. I have watched 3 seasons of this show, and other than Mindy and part of Danny, feel like I still barely know the characters. Mindy the character has been a work in progress - to me, while this is ultimately her end game, she just doesn't seem ready now, from a…
Yes, to your first point, one of the only things I have liked about the more recent episodes is that Peter, for all of his dumb frat bro tendencies, is actually Mindy's OBGYN, and a pretty good one! A storyline with them exploring her options including termination would have been powerful, I think. I was way more…
Yeah, I kind of don't know what they see in each other at all, really.
So true re: Jeremy. He just didn't fit anymore once they brought Peter on, and really, I don't know that he ever fit at all. He never had the presence of being an authority figure/boss, and the whole Lauren storyline was drawn out and terrible. All of this drama over characters that had no depth.
His jokes are terrible! I don't know if it's the writing or the line delivery, but it always feels like he's on a different show.
I love Mindy the person, and the show has had its moments, but it has also been SO uneven. I feel like they never found their footing. They have reshuffled the cast, put Mindy on the West Coast, gotten her pregnant.... all temporary fixes. It's a lot better than many other things currently on TV, and I'd miss it a bit…
Worth a try! I expected it to look GREEN and not work at all, but was pleasantly surprised that it looked very neutral on. black is sometimes too harsh on me, this one is a happy medium if I want to go a bit more dramatic, and/or fill in the waterline. I wear a brown Clinique one every day to work just for some…
I am not the OP, but I have a similar complexion - very fair, blue eyes, brunette. I got recommended a hunter green liner once, and it actually is amazing! I was extremely skeptical, but it is super dark, and looks more like a dark brownish black when on. May be worth a try! (mine is a bobbi brown one, I loveeeee…
Not yet, I am dying to see it! I love Lin Manuel and most recently saw him in the City Center Tick Tick Boom with Karen Olivo and Leslie Odom Jr., and it was wonderful. I missed the boat on early Hamilton tickets and will have to cough up the big bucks to see it on Broadway this summer. I'm so happy he has a big new…
Fair! I just feel like so many newish shows that open on Broadway are garbage. For every Hamilton, there's at least 3 Honeymoon in Vegas-es :) Mamma Mia isn't so bad in that context. #crankynewyorker
I can't tell the voices apart, but the central person in One Direction is Harry Styles. They'll do fine with 4, I'm sure. If Harry leaves, that could be the end of it.
Totally agree! Gigi especially I think would have been a better match with Bobbi Brown. Fantastic products, but the end result is usually enhancing your natural look vs. spackling on heavy applications of product.
I wonder about this a lot as well. But then I think about all of the people employed by the production, and it's better than an empty theater, at least.
Valid. However I saw Taye Diggs as Billy Flynn back in the day, and stunt casting or not, the man was smoooooth.
Ooh, tell! This show has been my guilty pleasure for YEARS! What was it like??? It always looks like a ton of fun on TV.
Thanks! I am really loving Artem as a pro. Solid dancer, good choreography, and always keeps the focus on his partner, not himself. I hope he has a fun season, even though he's on the participant track vs. a contender one.
This looks about 1000x better than the current Vince Vaughn movie that's out. He'd be lucky to be in this!
