I am completely shocked that a premise involving pizza-loving humanoid turtles trained in ninja techniques by a giant rat in order to battle - for some reason - a guy with a cheese graters on his wrists has failed to result in a script that isn't completely silly.

Why?

To be honest the only red flag I can see is the part where he suggests that an ideal date with him involves him taking you to some lonely spot thousands of miles away where no-one is coming to help you if things get freaky.

This Powers nonsense would really be a lot more bearable if one of the folks would just come out and say "We're only releasing issues three times a year now. Such is life."
