Being that I grew up around 79th & Halsted, you can't say I'm from the 'burbs. Also, looking up Pequod's, the place started in Morton Grove (BURBS!) and I didn't mention Lou's. Gino's is ok - not my favorite. Giordano's is an unsung deep dish hero.
As a native Chicagoan, you can only get that pie at two places: Gino's East and Giordano's. Now I'm homesick and there is no way any NY style pizza can fill that void.
