IDK. I’m guessing there is a local/state something ordinance/requirement in the hairstylist/barber code/licensure that doesn’t allow this. As such, the cop isn’t really wrong for pushing back on this.

Props. I always have a bit of a hangup when people talk about horrible tragedies that go way beyond “1 in 10" and call it decimation. Mostly because people in general don’t really have the faculties to properly envision the magnitude of those types of horrors and so there is a feeling that beyond a certain level…
I think you are unfairly singling out NASCAR comments and not giving proper due to all comments here when you make those kinds of claims.
Because watching production cars race would be really boring... Until the second or third lap when the brakes become completely cooked and unusable.
So if you work for a crappy company, pay the upgrade out of pocket and resent your employer for it. Plane companies don’t have a responsibility to only offer flights you wish your employer would pay for you.
I remember one argument online where some dude argued that profanity should be allowed because “We’re all adults here...” As if adults feel the need to run wild with the potty-mouth.
It would be beneficial to have links to the actual legislation to form a better opinion on the topic.
Yeah no. I’m talking about taking 3+ minutes per block just inching uphills, bumper to bumper, 3 or 4 blocks at a time. With people mad as hell if you wait a bit, because everyone is trying to get across intersections before the lights turn red.
And I now have an incentive to pick up the scooter, roll it over 20 feet to private property, wait a minute, then call for my $10 payment.
This. The audacity of the scooter companies (and the DBags that rent them only to then leave them laying on someone else’s property when they are done with them) should face a bit of pushback.
Can’t argue. We rented a Legacy last summer when out in San Francisco. I actually appreciated the CVT as I was inching up hills at obnoxiously slow speeds in shitty SF traffic.
Tell me Coach K shouldn’t have been all up in this kid’s face...
“Well, I believe what you’re saying, but I’m going to check around to see what your reputation really is.”
Don't for one second think that Europe, and other areas outside the Union, don't have absurd and baffling regulatory requirements for any and everything.
Agreed. Although I personally prefer subtly over outright ostentatiousness, I don't think the Lexus grill is THAT bad.
This. I’m so completely bored with all the bland minivans and 3 row SUVs (that are just bland minivans with less functional rear doors) that fill the parking lots of all the shit activities I have to take the kids to that this is a breath of fresh air.
Why would police want to push that narrative?
Meh.
cylinders do.
cylinders do.
Silly indeed, who loves wiping out all the little interior edges on those things compared to just wiping and rinsing a non-stick pan down?
