The way Ash so happily proclaimed "Jacksonville, Florida!" is really endearing.

Zoe Kazan needs to be in more everything, dammit. I actually saw "Our Brand is Crisis" (yeah, I'm that one person) and Kazan is introduced into the movie as if her character is going to be a badass political dirt digger… then she proceeds to be basically Sandra Bullock's translator.

I hope Glenn's survival is similarly handwaved. He just shows up sweaty and bloody, "Man, it was a scene but OH SHIT, ZOMBIES, AHHHH!!"

The "I lashed out" line was so comic-book-y Silver-Age awful that it was genius.

Anyone else think the ghost in the sandstorm was a riff on "It Follows"? Not that I minded, that movie kicked ass and the ghost thingie in this week's AoS had a similar unknown advancing shape-changing vibe

He may be useless but Oyelowo's delivery of Imperial Snark (TM) is freakin' pitch perfect so I'm totally okay with seeing him fail again and again because of the actor.

Yeah the plane sequence is a highlight. It does a nifty twist on the classic Superman saves a falling plane bit because she's steering it directly towards a bridge. And I'm a sucker for whenever a Superpowered Kryptonian has to grab a falling plane.

And that's how, with a few minor adjustments, you can turn a regular gun into five guns.

Also one of my favourite moments in the episode was when May was picked up by the big dude for a bear hug and she sorta bangs on his chest in a faux-scared / shocked sort of way. Great little bit of business by Ming-Na.
