odd coincidence they wrapped up HeadSimmons when RealSimmons came back. I would have preferred if they had gone HeadSimmons doesn't like RealSimmons craziness.

I think the lighthearted tone (compared to the last episode) is similar to the sometimes extreme tonal gearshifts "The Clone Wars" could take from arc to arc. Takes some time getting used to but I really dug how "Clone Wars" did it on an arc by arc basis (4 eps each, generally) so you could settle into that tone. …
My favourite sketch is definitely that "Puzzle World 6" sketch at the very end. I always love horrified reactions from the straight men to insanity going on and that Puzzle World cutscenes were in-freak-sane.
Nicole deBoer (Ezri Dax from Deep Space Nine!) was in this episode. Had about 3 lines. Was the gal accusing the dude of murdering her husband. Only reason I watched it. Also the only episode I ever watched. Was somewhat confused overall by pretty much everything. So, grain and ghost dads, eh?
In the I'm in love with Vanessa Bayer department all she did in the ep was smile as the nervous production assistant in the Donate sketch but it was a great 10 seconds on screen
Best Episode Ever. That's it. Calling it. At least for me. Best.
Favourite cameo in a Star Wars product in awhile since they busted out the old school Star Tours transports and Reubens for the droid. I hope he joins the crew for whenever everyone is busy on planet.
No Big Picture Clone Wars important stuff at all but I think they get a better handle on how to use Jar-Jar in TCW than they did in the films. Basically, in TCW everyone is actively irritated and annoyed at Jar-Jar whenever he pops up and explicitly point out that he is doing incredibly stupid things. The Mace Windu…
Where's the inevitable announcement of the Robin Hood Cinematic Universe? You aren't thinking big picture here, Sorny!
I'd say the visual style of Rebels is almost but not quite TCW level. Even in the shaky first season / movie of TCW it still had a hellova bunch of colour and environments and a bit more of a polished sheen (this is because TCW was an independent show funded by an eccentric billionaire so they could do stuff like…
That was a great beat, it should be fun seeing both Fusco and Reese playing at being cops while trying to keep up with the Machine's numbers.
I would vote for this grade to go up from B- to B if only because Absorbing Man was actually awesome. An actual fairly well known supervillian on Agents of SHIELD being kind of awesome is worth a half grade up.
The "Simmons is really Head Six" twist actually made all of the slowwwww word-searching disorder stuff play better. Because they really … uhm …. what is the word … LINGERED on it excessively.
"Wake me when you need me." - Master Chief appraising how dull these other folk are.
That Futurama episode has one of my favourite Mayor lines when he's describing the antagonists: "An elephant who never forgets …. TO KILL!"
Can't see any sort of post-ROTJ materiel coming out until after the movie is released because Mystery Box.
Agreed, take the "minimal amount of my attention" speech from The Social Network and mentally slot in a few words about an "alien Kryptonian" and he'll do fine as Lex.
hahahah, true. It's very likely that alcohol to Keifer is like spinach is to Popeye.
Good call, Mike Novack still has to pay for attempted murder of Ensign Ro / Admiral Caine back in Season 2!!
If they get S10 I want S10 to be the Big Jack Bauer Russian Breakout Season. Let Kate Morgan take front and centre for a few episodes in a heist / breakout scheme to get Jack (keep him limited to some tense Jack vs. Russian captors stuff) for about 4 episodes.
