I don’t think the halo saved anyone’s life today, LEC more than likely would have walked away from today’s crash. It did, however, show why the halo is a good idea. If Alonso’s car took a slightly different trajectory things could have been very different.

TLDR: You pull the handle, some witchcraft and/or wizardry happens, and click, your door opens

You’d need a crack pipe to want this for anything more than a $500 laugh

This is what bothers me. I get a hefty speeding ticket and labeled as an unsafe driver for doing 96 on a highway on-ramp late at night with no one around in perfect weather conditions, in a 400+ hp Mustang on sticky tires. But this guy, who is driving on tires that are unsafe at any speed would only get a fix-it

I immediately broke the calculator. If you put 80 years old, 10 per day, and smoked for 50 years. If you were to quit today, you would die 6 months sooner.

Higher octane shouldn’t harm anything. I’m not going to say it’s impossible, but it is highly unlikely that running 93 in a car that requires 87 will do harm.

I disagree. I bought the Focus after driving the Fiesta, and GTI. The Fiesta felt too cheap, the GTI was fine, but it was lacking something. The Focus felt more substantial, and had more of the optinal add-ons that interest me, but still very chuckable.

I don’t need to tell people this because they just lie to themselves.

My first year in college, when I would come home from breaks, I would bring a ton of stuff home in my Mustang. It was honestly shocking how much would fit in it.

So I totally bought a new Focus ST after reading this post. I’ve been thinking about it for a couple years now, but the deals going on pushed me over the edge. My OTD price was $23,500, about $22,000 before TT&T, which was pretty good for a ST2 with a sticker of $30,000. Definitely my smartest, dumb decision ever. Or

The car may be fine, but there was still a (brown) accident

When I read it, I assumed they ordered it online/through an app.

This one happened to my mom a couple weeks ago while we were traveling down to Florida for a funeral (we’re from NC).

In college I worked as a manager at a Jimmy John’s, and we would change our gloves religiously. Touch anything other than the food surface and we would change our gloves. We would go through at least a box of gloves a day.

Does it come with the Camry Dent pre-installed?

I wouldn’t be able to get around the fact that the Bentley’s interior looks like my 2011 Mustnag’s

I love to brag, but I got my 2011 GT for 1/3 the price of a new one.

Typically how I advise people when they’re deciding to pay off debt is to look at how much they’re making by investing that money vs the APR of the debt.

A “bit” more maintenance?

Well, if I’m tailgating you then it probably means get out of the left lane if your not passing anyone or your are taking miles to get by someone and are clogging traffic.
