Didn't get drunk or laid! Had a toast of zubrowka, and am continuing to watch The Twilight Zone marathon in my pajamas with my cats and my wife. I've been awake for 22 hours and I am coasting on sci-fi fumes.

Twilight Zone marathon and Zubrowka. Me and the missus are sick as fuck with coughs, and we're ringing in the new year with bison grass vodka, cats and Rod Serling.

Those reviews were beautiful. They tie with the final season of Dexter reviews as my favorite.

The man seems like he's a perpetual 50-year-old imp, and has been so since the early 80s.

Noonan was one of the creepiest X-File villains, too. I was hoping his character would pop up again on The Leftovers, but no dice.

My pop culture weekend consisted of watching the finales of The Returned and The Knick and the latest Ash Vs. Evil Dead. All of the other time was spent with my new niece. She was finally born, and she is adorable. I will do all in my power to turn that baby into a Rush fan.

Is there even going to be a season three?

It's certainly not for everybody. It's definitely not a movie I can watch sober. And I tried watching his series on HULU but had to turn it off after three minutes because it was so terrible.

Absolutely.

I honestly don't think it was intentionally shitty. I think he gave it his best effort and what came out is a DVD that you'd be better off using as a coaster.

I binged through Transparent and was't as impressed with this season as I was the first. I thought they portrayed the Women's music festival well though, because holy hell do I have friends nearly getting into fisticuffs over Michfest stupidity.

I'm not crying, you're crying.

Mine is Animals. Meddle is a close second, though.

Meddle is such an underrated album.

I go in between El Dorado and On the Third Day as my favorite album of theirs. The former is a brilliant concept album. The latter is just so damned cool. I particularly love the Morse code on Ocean Breakup/King of the Universe.

Part of me wishes my grandparents were alive so I could get their take on the whole situation, but the rest of me is glad that they're dead so they don't have to bear witness to what is going on in this country right now.

He's the best. I can't believe he's been gone for 22 years already.

Seriously. Trump doesn't speak for me. When he said stuff about Mexicans, I was livid because my brother is half-Mexican and has family that live there. Now the stuff about Muslims? Ugh. I've known Muslims my entire life. My cousin converted to Islam and married a very nice Pakistani man. Many of my doctors are

I found a copy of the Rutles soundtrack on vinyl. I'm sending it to my brother, because he's the one who introduced me to the awesomeness that is that movie and he is the only one worthy of receiving it.

I agree. It's music for smart people. For people with an analytical mind.
