So did anyone else give Gigi Does It a try? I did, and I just can't. My aunt kept telling me "try it, you'll love it, it's right up your alley!" but I think she only said that because she knows I love drag. This show is a chore and I hope it is cancelled.

I watched it, and it made me cry. The Mrs. Stein storyline, Dawn's kidney failure, everything was so good and moving. Even the slapstick comedy of getting shit on Patsy's face didn't lessen the impact of the episode. Also, with all of the people who got termination notices, we didn't hear Didi's name, did we?

My dad has friends out there that we don't know the status of yet. It reminds me of when he was deployed, we heard that there was a huge attack near where he was stationed, and we'd spend days by the phone waiting. Would it be a call from him, or would we have a general stopping by the house stating that my father has

This. I wasn't there for the commentary, but read it today in between sobbing, baking French macarons with my mom, meditating, watching Casablanca, and day drinking. I needed this tonight, due to how awful this was.

This episode was just the palate-cleanser I needed after the news coverage I've been watching for the last 24 hours. For that alone, I would give it a B+. Was it as strong as the first two? No, but I was entertained, I laughed, and it made me feel slightly better. Or distracted, at least.

I know, which is why I said "should they only be sterilized if they are mental defectives and minorities".

Totally disagree with the grade.

It just seems like drunkenness is a behavior he condemns is all. Not that I trust the dude who had a television show called Celebrity Rehab to be anything other than a sell-out anyway.

I am amused and confused that Dr. Drew Pinsky, addictions specialist, was on an episode of a comedy show called Drunk History.

Well, when they did Piper at the Gates of Dawn, they went by The Pink Floyd. After that, they were Pink Floyd. Syd only did one song on A Saucerful of Secrets, and Waters and Wright contributed to Piper at the Gates of Dawn.

That's sacrilege!

I remember that too! And now she's saying that he made a huge mistake? What the fuck.

Hard Candy is such a fucked up movie. I forgot that was Patrick Wilson.

As much as I love him as Ash, I don't think he was ever better than he was as Elvis in Bubba Ho-Tep. My dad watched that movie when he was in Iraq in 2004 and sent me a bootleg copy, and I just fell in love with it because it was so absurd and awesome.
