Steve Martin is pretty much all pluses, isn’t he? He’s the Anti-Chase.

Murray also stayed by Radner’s side until the end when she was dying, and they remained great friends up until her final moments. As noted elsewhere here, he also punched Chevy Chase and devastatingly called him a “medium talent” for being insanely terrible to the women on SNL. Maybe he’s a human being with flaws,

Well that and Isaiah quickly needing to justify why he's looking at PornHub on company time.

I loved the first few seasons of Moonlighting. That said, I agreed with Cybil Shepard when she said the series was pretty misogynistic. I mean, by all accounts Shepard isn’t the easiest person to work with, but I do think she got a raw deal from the show, especially as it went on.

What’s funny is the downard spiral of uhaul trucks in parking garages is probably more depressing than watching watching 11 foot 8 because you wonder how the fuck some people just kept. on. going.

just because you can’t, doesnt mean you shouldn’t. right?

We never explore WHY Walker doesn’t have the right stuff, we barely know who he is aside from “White perfect everyman”: he just is because the show makes him a bad dude. The show is also barely interested in what made Steve special, just repeating that he was.

“like why the U.S. government happily handed the shield over to a white guy rather than the Black man who deserved it”

What about those weird, mutant rat things that Quiznos had for a while? They called them spongmonkeys for some reason despite no monkey-ness and no visible sponge quality. Just messed up teeth and deformed eyes.

I’m with you on the big chains— I don’t care if I ever set foot in an AMC theater again— but theaters like Alamo can be beacons of culture and it would be a shame if they went away. It’s too bad they also seem to attract abusive scumbags (losing Cinefamily in LA really sucked but had to happen.)

The Alamo is closing locations? What a Crocket of shit!

He’s been allowed to expand the movie to 4 hours, but nevertheless it ends on a cliffhanger. that’s just perfect lol

Obviously his death scene is gut-wrenching, but this scene always gets me.

Is it OK to pee in the shower if I’m being paid? Because that’s a career path I wouldn’t hate to explore.

Some of the interned men volunteered to serve. That’s why Miyagi’s wife died in a camp during childbirth while he was fighting overseas. It’s a real bummer all around.

Yeah I built a new PC in 2016 and didn’t even bother to put a CD/DVD drive in it.

Since they’re consoles I understand why some people might be apprehensive with digital only. The PC market has been digital only for years and no one seems to care with that.

I didn’t exactly take it as Steve Rogers being turned into a Nazi as that Steve Rogers was exactly the same down to the last atom (or close enough). What was changed was his upbringing and environment and the depressing take home from that which even Steve Rogers didn’t seem to get when he confronted his alternate in

Cloak and Dagger was so much better than it had a right to be.

I thought Natasha’s sacrifice was very in character and earned and didn’t feel like a fridging moment to me, but I COMPLETELY agree that her not also being memorialized at the funeral scene for Tony in an equal way was awful.
