It wouldn’t be a waste of a vote if everyone did it. That’s the sort of thinking that keeps it from ever happening.

Libertarian?

GPS definitely needs to be a more square aspect ratio.

Why doesn’t the ultimate driving machine have a full set of gauges?

If it’s fresh powder this isn’t a problem.

Can we please move Foxtrot Alpha into its own Kinja, please? I really like it when they post cool military vehicles, and I like when Jalopnik overviews politics that affect vehicles and travel. But generally I read Jalopnik to get away from all of the non-car politics going on in the rest of the news world, and

Really? Because I don’t know if any modern cars that are designed for a front plate. All of them I see on the internet have an ugly ass bracket that does all of the bad things I listed above. Like this:

They probably do that because California has too many cars to split the numbers and letters.
A license plate of 6 alphanumeric symbols has 36^6=2,176,782,336 combinations. A license plate of 3 letters followed by 3 numbers only has (26^3)+(10^3)=17,576,000 combinations

Do you know how many crimes have been solved with front license plates? close to zero. Front license plates definitely don’t justify the millions of dollars in added costs to the taxpayers. Cars aren’t even designed for front license plates, so they end up being bolted on the front of a car in ways that cause

We need to completely get rid of front license plates. They are useless, they cost taxpayers money, and they restrict airflow and increase drag. Not to mention they make cars really ugly because cars aren’t designed for front license plates.

Solution: let teams build whatever they want.

High school shop class isn’t as prevalent as it used to be. Maybe if it was incidents like this wouldn’t happen.

I think it has more to do with the fact that people like saving some money by doing it themselves, and it’s easy enough to do on your own. I also assume these people also do air filters themselves too, but you just don’t hear about it because it’s so easy it’s not even noteworthy. Brake fluids and coolant are not as

Modern WRC cars might not have the horsepower of their Group B grandfathers, but they are still hugely quick thanks to advances in their tires, suspension, and (as you can see here) all-wheel drive.

I don’t remember. I’ll check when I get home.

My roommate has the non photoshopped version of this book. He got a whole bunch of them at a garage sale. Pretty neat to see it on Jalopnik.

I really like the way the YZ250F engine looks.

It was so much better when the race was on asphalt and dirt.

If there weren’t safety regulations, I’d hope Toyota would still make the MR2 turbo.
