The geography isn’t anything unique that you can’t get anywhere else in the country. Like I said, the only thing nice is the year round mild weather, which is unique to southern California.

I am not sure we’ll ever know the conclusive math. All I know is, I feel safer when I know armed citizens are around me, and that in a worst case scenario I at least have the opportunity to defend myself. It’s an opportunity that those poor souls in France were never given.

How would liability insurance prevent accidental firearm deaths? just because they pay for insurance doesn’t really make them any more proficient in the 4 rules of gun safety.
The FBI link shows that violent crime has been decreasing in a period when gun ownership has been increasing. I thought you were smart enough to make the connection in your head.
I think there are private market solutions that could help, like having to insure your firearms with liability protection.
