I have a similar experience with Fire Emblem. I always wanted to try it, but the permadeath turned me off. I played FE: Heroes and I quite liked it, but gacha mechanics make me quit it to get the first FE relesead on GBA. I am loving it. Besides, you reminded to finish Skies of Arcadia.
